Language Angels

Throughout KS2 children are learning Spanish. To support teachers in delivering Spanish we are using a programme called Language Angels.  Language Angels is an online scheme of work with allows teachers to use interactive games, songs and videos to motivate and enthuse pupils in their Spanish learning. 

As part of the website, it allows pupils to practice their Spanish skills at home, accessing the same games as those available in school. We would encourage all pupils to spend 10 minutes a week practising their Spanish, although the more often they use it the better their language skills will become.

The games are easy to use and can be played independently or enjoyed as a whole family! They can be accessed via a PC or tablet app. 

Below are instructions on how to log on. 

1. Visit https://www.languageangels.com/schools/ or download the language angels app on a tablet
2. Click on the pupil games area 
3. Pupils have a school login. Please get in touch with your child's class teacher if you are unsure what this is. 
4. Follow the onscreen instructions - pupils will start working on the less challenging area of the curriculum. There are games linked to each of the units taught. You can use the flight path above to identify what your children are covering in each year group.
