Pupil Chaplaincy

Meet the Chaplains!
We first started our pupil chaplaincy in their roles on 2019 and it has grown from strength to strength.

The roles of a Pupil Chaplain include delivering class Prayer and Worship, leading prayers and reflections in assemblies and Liturgical events, supporting charities and fundraising events. They are good role models for the younger pupils in our school and award certificates for acts of kindness. They are a real asset to the school.

On 28th May 2021 we held a lovely commissioning service at Our Lady and St Patrick’s Church for our new Pupil Chaplains. We also thanked and bid farewell to our retiring Chaplains who have served the school community so well over the last two years. It was a very special moment to recognise the gifts and talents that the children have used in the service of others and to welcome and encourage the gifts the new team will bring.

It was a moving tribute when the parents were invited to dress their own children in their GIFT hoodies.

A big thank you to Fr Mark for leading the service and to the parents and families who were able to join us in this special event.
