We strongly believe in the value of children learning about how to look after themselves and make mental health and wellbeing a priority. Developing positive mental health education is interwoven into school in a number of ways; through our PSHE provision, through Children's Mental Health Week and through Liturgies.
It can be hard for children to really understand what we really mean by mental health and wellbeing so there is a clip here to help them to understand.
Children's Mental Health Awareness Week 7th-13th February 2022
Now more than ever this is such an important week. We are taking part in Place2Be’s Children’s Mental Health Week. This year’s theme is Growing Together.
We will be encouraging children (and adults) to consider how they have grown, and how they can help others to grow.
Social Prescribing Service
The Social Prescribing Team are there to support with physical and mental well-being. You do not need an appointment with your doctor to access this service. You can simply call your surgery and ask to speak to a well-being practitioner. They will call you back and discuss how best they can support you.
