Mrs Larraine Coulter Chair of Governors Foundation Governor Term-end: 8th November 2025 |
Lead Governor in Safeguarding & Child Protection and MFL As a Mum of two daughters who attended OLSP some years ago I was always grateful for the care and nurture they received at this school and I still see this today. I feel very privileged to be a Governor here and hope that my support will go some way to say "thank you".

Fr Mark Skelton Foundation Governor
|
Lead Governor in RE & Catholic Life Deputy Safeguarding Every time I write, 'I have been a priest for over 30 years' it makes me wonder how that could have happened. However in those 30 years plus I have worked all over the Diocese in 6 different parishes and have been involved in Catholic schools throughout those years, this parish being my 7th. My ministry is fed by my love of literature, gardening and all things nature and most especially by the rabbit, who perhaps has more influence than he ought, a cat and two guinea pigs.

Mrs Joyce Gillespie Vice Chair
Foundation Governor Term End: 31st August 2026
|
Lead Governor for SEND and Music & Science
I previously served as a Foundation Governor for 8 years at OLSP from 1990-1998 and was a Children’s Liturgy leader at OLSP church for many years. In my career in education I held roles as a Teacher in Primary and Secondary schools,SENCO in Primary and Secondary Schools and Assistant Head and Head of AEN Faculty in a Secondary school. Relevant experience of Ofsted has been a consequence of my profession. Since retirement I have felt I would like to offer my time to once again support OLSP, the school that gave my children such a wonderful Primary Education.

Mr Darral Saw Parent Governor Term-end: 31st January 2027
|
Lead Governor in Statutory Grants and Maths
I have never served as a parent governor previously and am excited with what lies ahead. I have 2 children at OLSP, Max in year 2 and Mae in the nursery, both thoroughly enjoy their time at the school. It was the smaller classes and focus on the children that made the decision for my wife and I to enrol our children to this wonderful school. As well as my children I also have a Niece and Nephew that attend the school. I hope to work with my fellow governors and the school to continue to develop the positive vibe and feeling in the school and help to grow our OLSP family.
