Teignmouth Beach Clean Up with the Friends!
Around 20 children from our school and their accompanying adults along with Mrs Blatchford, Mrs O'Sullivan and Mr Stamp all took the time out of their Easter holidays to help the Friends of OLSP in a beach clean on Friday 12th April.
Although it was high tide, we still managed to litter pick on the point and then follow the river down the back beach. The sun was shining and the children were all very enthusiastic about finding rubbish.
Councillor David Cox and Dan Comer joined us and ensured that all the litter was then collected by Teignbridge council.
We were treated to free ice creams courtesy of Jackmans Toy box.
We hope to organise another beach clean towards the end of the summer holidays. Mr Stamp would also like to organise a few class beach cleans during term time.
