As a Mum of two daughters who attended OLSP some years ago I was always grateful for the care and nurture they received at this school and I still see this today. I feel very privileged to be a Governor here and hope that my support will go some way to say "thank you".

Lead Governor for SEND and Music & Science

I previously served as a Foundation Governor for 8 years at OLSP from 1990-1998 and was a Children’s Liturgy leader at OLSP church for many years.

In my career in education I held roles as a Teacher in Primary and Secondary schools,SENCO in Primary and Secondary Schools and Assistant Head and Head of AEN Faculty in a Secondary school. Relevant experience of Ofsted has been a consequence of my profession.

Since retirement I have felt I would like to offer my time to once again support OLSP, the school that gave my children such a wonderful Primary Education.

Mr Darral Saw

Parent Governor

Term-end: 31st January 2027

Lead Governor in Statutory Grants and Maths

I have never served as a parent governor previously and am excited with what lies ahead. I have 2 children at OLSP, Max in year 2 and Mae in the nursery, both thoroughly enjoy their time at the school. It was the smaller classes and focus on the children that made the decision for my wife and I to enrol our children to this wonderful school. As well as my children I also have a Niece and Nephew that attend the school. I hope to work with my fellow governors and the school to continue to develop the positive vibe and feeling in the school and help to grow our OLSP family.

Lead Governor for Curriculum & Standards and Humanities

I currently have two children at OLSP, Ada in year 4 and Joshie in year 2. I also had the privilege of being a pupil at OLSP many moons ago. I have been a secondary teacher for over 10 years with a specialism in Religious education, although I have taught Philosophy, History, geography, and PHSE.

I love OLSP and its community and I was delighted when Ada choose OLSP as during her visit she had felt safe, comfortable and respected. Each child is treated as unique individuals and I want to support the school in continuing to be a wonderful, warm and vibrant place of learning.
