Complaints Procedure

If parents are unhappy with any aspect of their child's schooling, the best way to clear things up is to take the matter up in the first instance with the class teacher and then with the Key Stage Leader or Head teacher.

If the concern is about the curriculum and if an interview with the Head teacher does not remove the worry, the 1988 Education Act sets out more formal arrangements which enable complaints to be considered by the Governing Body of the school, the Local Education Authority and ultimately the Secretary of State.

Details of the procedure can be made available on request or downloaded here.
